This paper provides a look into the history of funds of funds investing over the past decade, with examples of search activity and volumes taken from Evaluation Associates client roster. In addition, the paper summarizes our views for the future of hedge fund investments form the perspective of our client base, including areas of focus, strategies of interest, the blending of funds of funds with direct hedge funds, and other trends that we see developing over the coming years.
